PREPARATION STAGE

This short video is a guide to preparing a roof ready for the installation of the Cure It GRP Flat Roofing System.

Stage 1 - Installing the New Deck

This short video is a guide to installing the new deck for the roof area using OSB T&G 2400mm x 600mm decking boards.

Stage 2 - Installing the GRP Trims

A short video guide on how to apply the GRP trims as part of the Cure It installation process. The following trims are used in this video – A200, B260, C100, D260.

Stage 3 - Detailing and Bandaging

This short video is a guide to the detailing and bandaging stage (stage 3) of the Cure It installation process. It includes bandage preparation, mixing Cure It Resin and ‘wetting-out’ bandage for corners and trim joins.

Stage 4 - Laminating

This short video is a guide to the laminating stage (stage 4) of the Cure It installation process. The most important part of the installation process, this is an in-depth guide to mixing, applying and consolidating the resin and reinforcement mat laminate.

Stage 5 - Topcoating

In this short video, we use a range of trims including flat flashing, G180 gulley trim and AT trims, to show how to GRP a parapet wall, step detail, a gully and a wide gully detail. The detail work is bandaged and laminated for a waterproof finish.

Bonding to concrete

In this masterclass video, Cure It is applied to a concrete surface. Cure It Concrete Primer is used to coat the surface before trims and laminating are applied to cover the concrete.

Corners and GRP Trims

This masterclass is a guide to preformed corners and GRP Trims. It features how to instal an C3 internal and external preformed corner with a D260 trim, as well as creating internal and external corners by mitring a D260 trim to suit. It shows how to instal a C1 external corner and how to create an external corner using A and B trims. It features using an AT195 trim for lantern detail. It also includes how to install a trim for a bay window.

Bonding Cure It to other materials

This video in the masterclass series explores how to bond GRP to other materials including plastic external pipework and lead, showing the detail work required during the bandage and laminating stages.
