"DSK Plastics and Building Supplies Ltd was recommended to me by a friend who had recently used their products for a home decking installation project. The composite decking supplied by DSK is a high quality, ‘full colour’, 5m long product. The 5m lengths although more expensive than the commonly used 3.2m boards actually save you money as you are not cutting full boards to make up your run and then disposing of expensive ‘off-cuts’. As you can see from my photo’s I don’t have any joints in the decking runs thanks to the length of the 5m boards from DSK. Also, the ‘full colour’ board is a ‘must’ for the ‘longevity’ of your project. Some of the inferior products from competitors are basically a 3.2m neutral colour composite board with a ‘vinyl wrap’. The vinyl wrap, if ‘chipped’ by a metal garden chair or other decking furniture, will become unsightly and ‘spoil’ the look of your decking as you will see the colour of the ‘underboard’. The DSK products have the ‘full-colour’ of the composite board all the way through so any slight chip or dent, will not result in ‘another’ colour showing through.
It was a pleasure to deal with DSK and meet Shawn, Diane and of course Nala, (the dog!). The personal service and enthusiasm shown by Shawn, Diane (and Nala) is second to none, nothing is too much trouble.
